PACKING COMPUTERS

Preparing Computer for Move:

•  Unplug all components

•  Place label on CPU (Docking station, Laptop….)

•  Place label on Monitor

•  Pack Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, and Wires in large zip lock bag

•  Place label on Key Board Bag

•  Leave Keyboard Bag on desk

•  Do not pack computers items in box or crate

•  Movers will protect and move all computer systems

•  At destination:

•  CPU will be placed on floor

•  Monitor placed on desk with Key Board bag

•  Reconnect computer as directed (Select one of the following):

     Employee

     IT Staff

     Outside Vendor
